Migrating friends, that time of year has finally come for you to soar south into our sunlit haven! Warm tropical sunsets, palm trees swaying in the breeze, dolphins playing by the shores, it's amazing how we've managed to keep our land of paradise such a well kept secret! Our friends from "up north" who have discovered the unique beauty and wonderful subtropical weather of the Texas Gulf Coast and the Corpus Christi Beach make Villa del Sol their "Winter Wonderland". When it's time to take that flight and nest, Villa del Sol in Corpus Christi is like turning the calendar back a couple of seasons!

As a winter resident, you'll enjoy warm weather and southern hospitality in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Catch some rays and warm, gentle breezes on your bayview or bayfront balcony. Stroll the lush tropical gardens in the center of our community, complete with two swimming pools and three spas. You'll also find water exercise classes, bridge, golf tournaments, barbecues, potluck dinners, birthday celebrations, cocktail events, arts & crafts, shell hunting and walks on the beach--right here at Villa del Sol.

ome away from home--with all the extras. Each one-bedroom condo rental has a fully equipped compact kitchen, full bath, cable TV and AM/FM radio. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom, a sofa bed and two bunk beds off the center hallway--perfect for the grandchildren. Washer and dryer facilities are on each floor. Our beachfront social center is available for meetings, games and other social events. Maid Service is not included in rental rates, however, it is available for an extra charge.

Some restaurants even cook your fish however you like it--grilled, baked, blackened or fried.

are welcome for long-term guests and snow birds. Limited number of units are designated for guest with pets. Prior arrangements must be made in order to authorize a pet in a unit. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. We would like to encourage you to consider a nearby kennel if you feel that's best for your pet. There is a one-time charge of $100 for pets to stay in the rental unit.

Discover the sailboat races, museums, galleries, South Texas Opry, Saturday afternoon treasure hunts, the Waterfront Art Market, Greyhound racing, fishing, sailing, or guided shopping tours to the Mexican border -- Whatever your soul desires! But be sure to save time for Port Aransas, Corpus Christi Harbor and Port cruises, Padre Island, King Ranch, or the artists' colony in Rockport/Fulton.

omfort is just a part of everyday life at Villa del Sol. There is no charge for local phone calls or utilities. Each vacation condo rental is stocked with soaps and detergents. Grocery stores, restaurants, shopping centers, specialty stores and medical facilities are just a short distance away, with many offering special senior citizen rates. We will also be happy to help you establish a local banking relationship and library privileges.

irdwatching along the Coastal Bend region is an exciting and favorite year-round pastime for birdwatchers everywhere, including our Winter Texan and Snow Bird guests. The Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail is one of the largest sanctuaries in the world, with hundreds of species of wild birds. And guided tours are available to show you the way to our feathered friends' habitat. In addition to winter's rare Whooping Cranes, who make their home at the Aransas Wild Life Refuge, more than 400 documented species of wild birds follow the Central Flyway in the skies over Villa del Sol, including a tremendous number of hummingbirds. So bring your binoculars!
